Vajra is a modern, high-performance web server written in Rust, created by Sugan Dodrai.
I built Vajra to prove that a web server can be both blazing fast and memory-safe without sacrificing usability. The goal was to create a single-binary solution that replaces the traditional Nginx + Certbot + ModSecurity stack.
Sugan Dodrai is a systems engineer and open-source enthusiast. Vajra is the result of countless hours of research into Rust, io_uring, and high-performance networking.
